Lease Negotiations

What happens if you negotiate to buy but you can't get a lease for the premises?

Due Diligence should be completed for any pharmacy purchase.

There is always a danger that the selling parties will hide or gild the truth, eg. adding in revenues or profits that are not really there, etc — it does happen! Or just neglecting to mention the downside or recent risks.

You can usually check any information back to the source documents. Most pharmacy advisors know what tricks to look for and can help you to test the information you have been given. If there is a reluctance or inability to provide evidence - start rethinking your level of interest!
